Dave's Tour Update 4/5/08

Stuff Hey folks... Dave here with a tour update! Well we're on day 11 in the Northeast and getting ready for our last stop before we head to Michigan and back to the west. Thanks to all the folks coming out and supporting the band, we really appreciate it! We have been having a great time and playing some great shows, many of which have already been posted online. The tour wraps up tonight at The Fountain House in Newton NJ with special guest Andy Goessling from Railroad Earth. After that we head home for a few days off and two shows in MI. On April 11th, we'll be at The Intersection in Grand Rapids with Steppin In It guitar shreder Josh Davis doing a duo set with Mike Shimmin. The next night on the 12th we head up to Whitehall to play at The Howmet Playhouse. Tickets for both are on sale now. It's been a good trip and we are looking forward to getting in to our own beds for a few day's before we head out west. People ask me "What keeps you going?" and for those folks all I have to say is bacon. Bacon with my breakfast really keeps me going. Well we'll see y'all soon.
Dave

East Side, West Side....on the road again!

Stuff
Good Morning, Campers!!!!!!!!

This weekend brings to an end the much anticipated and very satisfying Ski Tour '08, with shows tonight at the Trilogy Wine Bar and Lounge in Boulder followed by tomorrow night's finale at Sherpa and Yeti's in beautiful downtown Breckenridge.

The trip has been an interesting one to say the least. Treacherous drives through blinding snow storms, followed closely by hugely entertaining shows such as the great (some might say epic!) night at the Stage Stop in Rollinsville, CO. We knew it was going to be a fun evening, with Bill Nershi opening the show. By the end of the night the band was joined by Vince Herman, Jeff Austin and Billy for a rousing 2 set barn burner. Lots of new songs were debuted, many margaritas consumed, and a great time was had by all. You can link to the LMA here and either download or stream the entire show.

And here's a few pics:

Bont, Vince Herman, Paul and Billy Nershi

Jeff Austin, Noodle, Billy, Mike and Dave

Along the way the boys also hooked up with some of the gang from Head For The Hills and Wayword Sons, Barry Sless and Great American Taxi for some sweet jams. The whole trip has been fun, meeting old friends and making new ones along the way. Many thanks to everyone who came out to sing, dance and ski!
